In Spanish yes/no questions, it is very common to put the verb first. You flip the subject (la película) and the verb (es). Because Spanish word order is flexible, the structure often becomes Verb + Adjective + Subject: ¿Es interesante la película?
Could I just ask ¿La película es interesante? instead?
