私 は ビール が 飲みたい です。watasi ha biiru ga nomitai desu.
I want to drink beer.
日本語 が 習いたい です。nihongo ga naraitai desu.

明日 は 何 を 食べたい です か。asita ha nani wo tabetai desu ka.
What do (you) want to eat tomorrow?
彼女 は 医者 に 行きたく なかった です。kanozyo ha isya ni ikitaku nakatta desu.
She didn't want to go to the doctor.
おかしな 映画 が 見たい です。okasina eiga ga mitai desu.
I want to see a funny movie.

日本語 を 習いたい です。nihongo wo naraitai desu.

日本 へ 行きたかった です。nihon he ikitakatta desu.

I don't want to see such a movie ever again.
どんな 人 と 結婚したい です か。donna hito to kekkonsitai desu ka.
What kind of person do you want to marry?
彼 の ほか に 誰 が その 映画 を 見たい です か。kare no hoka ni dare ga sono eiga wo mitai desu ka.
Who else besides him wants to see that movie?
彼 は まだ 大人 に なりたく ない。kare ha mada otona ni naritaku nai.

また 旅行したい なあ。mata ryokousitai naa.
I want to travel again.
なあ is used here to express desire or longing
温い ジュース は 飲みたく ない です。nurui zyuusu ha nomitaku nai desu.
I don't want to drink lukewarm juice.
誰 に 電話 を 掛けたい です か。dare ni denwa wo kaketai desu ka.
Who do you want to call?
彼女 は 政治家 に なりたい と 言って います。kanozyo ha seizika ni naritai to itte imasu.
She says she wants to become a politician.
その 蛇 に は 触りたく ない です。sono hebi ni ha sawaritaku nai desu.
I don't want to touch that snake.
お金 が あれば、 新しい 車 を 買いたい です。okane ga areba, atarasii kuruma wo kaitai desu.
If I have money, I want to buy a new car.
冬 の ころ、 寒くて 外 に 出たく なかった。huyu no koro, samukute soto ni detaku nakatta.
Around wintertime, it was (so) cold I didn't want to go outside.
先生 に ご意見 を 伺いたい です。sensei ni goiken wo ukagaitai desu.
