What exactly does ci mean in the second sentence?
Ci is a pronoun that means "there." It replaces a location that was just mentioned so you don't have to repeat it. Here, it stands in for "to the pastry shop" (alla pasticceria). Notice that it is placed immediately before the verb andiamo.
Why is it buonissimi instead of just buoni?
