Questions & Answers about Capite facilmente questo progetto?
How do we form the adverb facilmente?
Adverbs of manner are usually formed by taking the feminine singular form of an adjective and adding -mente. However, the adjective facile (easy) ends in -e and is the same for both masculine and feminine. For adjectives ending in -e, you just add -mente directly to the word to get facilmente (easily).
Why is it capite and not 'capiscite'? I thought capire was an '-isc-' verb.
Why does facilmente come directly after the verb? Can I put it at the end of the sentence?
In Italian, adverbs of manner like facilmente usually go immediately after the verb they modify. While putting it at the end (Capite questo progetto facilmente?) can be understood, keeping it right after the verb is the most natural word order.
Would the word questo change if the noun was plural?
