Мы is the first‐person plural pronoun meaning “we.” It marks the subject of the sentence. Russian often drops subject pronouns when the verb ending is clear, so Ищем ключ под столом still means “We are looking for the key under the table,” but including Мы adds clarity or emphasis.
What tense and aspect is ищем?
Ищем is present tense, first‐person plural, imperfective aspect of the verb искать (“to search, to look for”). The imperfective aspect indicates an ongoing or habitual action: Мы ищем = “we are looking for” (we haven’t finished searching yet).
Why is ключ unchanged? What case is it?
