• Norii albi dispar rapid primăvara, lăsând cerul senin.: The white clouds disappear quickly in spring, leaving the sky clear.
• Lasă geanta pe scaun.: Leave the bag on the chair.
• Dacă avem o lecție lungă, profesoara ne lasă o pauză scurtă înainte de exerciții.: If we have a long lesson, the (female) teacher gives us a short break before the exercises.
• Când ajung acasă, pun ouăle și carnea în frigider, dar las ceapa pe masă.: When I get home, I put the eggs and the meat in the fridge, but I leave the onion on the table.
