• Η φίλη μου φοβάται όταν έχει καταιγίδα τη νύχτα.: My friend (female) is afraid when there is a storm at night.
• Φοβάμαι όταν περιμένω μόνος μου τη νύχτα.: I am afraid when I wait alone at night.
• Σκέφτομαι το μέλλον μου, αλλά και το παρελθόν, παρόλο που μερικές φορές φοβάμαι.: I think about my future, but also my past, even though sometimes I am afraid.
• Η φωνή του καθηγητή είναι ήρεμη, και γι’ αυτό δεν φοβάμαι τόσο στην εξέταση.: The professor’s (male) voice is calm, and that’s why I am not so afraid in the exam.
• Ο δρόμος μέχρι την αγορά είναι στενός, αλλά το πεζοδρόμιο είναι αρκετά μεγάλο, οπότε δεν φοβάμαι.: The road to the market is narrow, but the sidewalk is quite wide, so I am not afraid.
