Questions & Answers about Imamo zalihu.
Imamo means we have. Its dictionary form is imati, meaning to have.
It is the 1st person plural present tense form:
- imam = I have
- imaš = you have
- ima = he/she/it has
- imamo = we have
- imate = you have
- imaju = they have
Because Croatian often leaves subject pronouns out. The verb ending already shows who the subject is.
In imamo, the ending -mo tells you the subject is we. So Imamo zalihu already means We have a supply/stock.
You can add mi:
- Mi imamo zalihu.
But that usually adds emphasis, such as we have it.
