Questions & Answers about Je veux un travail.
Why is the verb spelled veux here?
Veux is the "I" form (je) of the irregular verb vouloir (to want) in the present tense. Because it is irregular, it doesn't follow the normal verb endings. The casual "you" form is spelled exactly the same: tu veux.
I thought travail meant "work". Can it also mean "a job"?
Is the "x" at the end of veux pronounced?
