Why is it pas de porc instead of pas du porc?
Normally, to say 'some pork' you use the partitive article du because porc is a masculine, uncountable thing (manger du porc). However, in negative sentences, the articles un, une, des, du, and de la change to just de (or d' before a vowel). This rule means 'not any pork' is always pas de porc.
Why do we use cette here instead of ce?
Fille is a feminine word, so you must use the feminine form for 'this', which is cette. If you were talking about a masculine word, like garçon (boy), you would use ce instead (ce garçon).
