Why aren't the adjectives uusi and helppo in the partitive case here?
In Finnish, when you describe a single, countable thing (like a game, peli), the describing adjectives stay in their basic dictionary form (nominative). You generally only use the partitive case for adjectives (like uutta) when describing uncountable things, like materials or liquids (for example, Kahvi on kuumaa - The coffee is hot).
Does tämä always stay exactly like that when pointing out an object?
No, it has to match the word it belongs to! Because peli is in the basic singular form here, we use the basic singular form tämä (this). If you were talking about multiple games, you would use the plural form for both words: nämä pelit (these games).
