Questions & Answers about حاشیه و پس‌زمینه را ما با هم تطبیق می‌دهیم.

Why are حاشیه و پس‌زمینه را placed before the subject ما?
This is a prime example of Object-Subject-Verb (OSV) fronting for topicalization. By putting the definite direct object cluster (حاشیه و پس‌زمینه را) at the absolute beginning of the clause, the speaker establishes "the border and the background" as the primary topic of the conversation. In English, we often mimic this structure by saying, "As for the border and the background, we match them."
Since the verb ending in تطبیق می‌دهیم already tells us it means "we match", why include the independent pronoun ما?
While Farsi drops subject pronouns frequently, keeping ما right after the fronted object adds a slight contrastive emphasis to the subject. The sentence structure strongly implies: "The border and the background, we will match them (as opposed to someone else having to do it)."
How is the word پس‌زمینه formed to mean "background"?
It is a highly literal compound word made of پس (behind/after) and زمینه (ground/context/basis). Literally meaning "the ground behind," پس‌زمینه is the standard Farsi word for "background," whether you are referring to visual graphic design, a computer wallpaper, or the historical background of a story.
How does the compound verb تطبیق دادن work with prepositions?
When you are matching, comparing, or adapting things to one another, تطبیق دادن takes the preposition با (with). Because this sentence uses با هم (with each other / together), it means the two items are being matched to one another. If you instead wanted to say you are matching the border to the background, you would say حاشیه را با پس‌زمینه تطبیق می‌دهیم.
