From Lesson 253:Not anymore (digar)·Farsi

Questions & Answers about این سی‌دی دیگر کار نمی‌کند، مجبور هستیم که از فلش استفاده کنیم.

How does دیگر change the meaning of the first half of the sentence?
When you use دیگر (digar) with a negative verb like کار نمی‌کند (kār nemi-konad, "it does not work"), it translates to "not anymore" or "no longer". Together, it means "it doesn't work anymore".
Why is there an از (az) before فلش (flash)?
The verb for "to use" in Farsi is استفاده کردن (estefāde kardan), which literally means "to make use". It always requires the preposition از (az, meaning "from"). So you literally say "make use from a flash drive".
Why is the second verb استفاده کنیم (estefāde konim) in the subjunctive form?
The phrase مجبور هستیم (majbur hastim, "we are forced" or "we have to") expresses obligation. Just like with "must" or "want to", the verb that follows it needs to be in the subjunctive mood to show an intended action rather than a stated fact.
Is the word که (ke) strictly necessary after مجبور هستیم?
In spoken Farsi, the connector که (ke, "that") is often dropped, just like in English. However, including it is grammatically correct and very common in written or slightly formal contexts to link the obligation directly to the action.
