How does râje' be compare to the other prepositions for 'about' in this lesson?
râje' be means 'about' or 'regarding'. While dar moured-e and dar khosus-e use the ezafe (the linking 'e' sound) to attach to the following noun, râje' be connects using the preposition be. You do not add an ezafe after it.
Why do we say az modir (from the manager) when the English translation says 'ask the manager'?

châlesh means 'challenge' and the suffix -hâ makes it plural. To connect this noun to the adjective jeddi (serious), we need the ezafe link. Because the plural ending -hâ ends in the long vowel 'â', the ezafe is pronounced as a 'ye' sound to bridge the two words.
