Why does شخصیت (personality) have an -ی at the end?
The -ی at the end of شخصیتی works with که (that) to introduce a relative clause. It acts like 'a' or 'the kind of' in English, pointing forward to the description. Together, شخصیتی ... که means 'a personality ... that'.
If شخصیتی means 'a personality', why do we use the definite direct object marker را right after it?
Normally, را is only used for specific, known things. However, when an indefinite noun is followed by a که clause, that description makes the noun specific enough to take را. You are not just liking any personality, you are specifically liking 'a personality that is funny'.
Why does که بامزه است come after the verb دوست دارم? Shouldn't the description stay next to the noun?
