Questions & Answers about ما میخواهیم خودمان این کسب و کار را مدیریت کنیم.
Why do we use khodeman here instead of just saying ma again?
Khodeman is the emphatic pronoun meaning "ourselves." It is made of khod (self) plus the first-person plural ending -eman. Even though we already have ma (we) at the beginning of the sentence, adding khodeman emphasizes that we want to manage the business specifically ourselves, without anyone else's help.
Why is the second verb modiriyat konim instead of modiriyat mikonim?
Because it comes after mikhaahim (we want). In Farsi, when you say you want to do an action, the second verb must be in the subjunctive form. For a compound verb like modiriyat kardan (to manage), you drop the mi- prefix and just use the verb stem with the matching ending, which gives us konim for "we".
The word for business is kasb o kaar. What do those separate words literally mean?
It translates directly to "trade and work." Kasb means earning or trade, o is the spoken form of "and", and kaar means work. When joined together, kasb o kaar is the standard Farsi term for a business.
Why does the direct object marker raa come after the whole phrase in kasb o kaar?
The marker raa always follows the entire noun phrase it points to. Here, the specific thing being managed is "this business" (in kasb o kaar). So, raa waits until the end of that complete phrase to show exactly what receives the action of the verb.
