The aforementioned (nâm-borde, mazkur)

Contracts and official documents use formal vocabulary, such as مستاجر (tenant), موجر (landlord), and موظف (obliged).

To refer to a previously mentioned noun, formal Farsi uses the adjective مذکور (the aforementioned / the said). Like any standard adjective, it links to the preceding noun using the ezafe vowel.

نام‌برده (The Said Person)

When referring back specifically to a person, legal texts use نام‌برده (the said person). While مذکور modifies a noun, نام‌برده stands alone as a pronoun, replacing the person's name or title.

Articles, Notes, and Stipulations

Contracts and laws are structured around a ماده (article or clause) and a تبصره (note or sub-clause). The rules inside them are described using درج شدن (to be stipulated or inserted).

You will also encounter the formal adjective مربوطه (relevant / respective) and the noun خاتمه (termination / end).
