The Adverb تازه
In Farsi, the word تازه originally means "fresh," but as an adverb, it translates to "just" or "recently."
| just / recently | تازهtâze |
The Immediate Past
To express that an action has just happened, pair تازه with the Present Perfect tense. تازه typically sits early in the sentence, right after the subject.
| The courier has just brought the parcel. | پیک تازه مرسوله را آورده است.peyk tâze morsule râ âvarde ast. |
| I have just tracked the parcel; it has arrived at the warehouse. | من تازه مرسوله را رهگیری کردهام؛ به انبار رسیده است.man tâze marsule râ rahgiri kardeam; be anbâr reside ast. |
When dealing with compound verbs, the structure remains exactly the same. The adverb تازه modifies the entire perfect tense action.
| I have just sent the code to the customer. | من تازه کد را برای مشتری فرستادهام.man tâze kod râ barâye moshtari ferestâde-am. |
| The postman has just delivered the express parcel to the residence. | پستچی تازه مرسولهی پیشتاز را در منزل تحویل داده است.postchi tâze morsule-ye pishtâz râ dar manzel tahvil dâde ast |
Passive Voice
You can also use this structure in the passive voice to describe parcels, texts, or codes that have just been sent or processed.
| The code has just been sent with a text message. | کد تازه با یک پیامک فرستاده شده است.kod tâze bâ yek payâmak ferestâde shode ast. |
