According to (bar asâs-e, tebq-e)

When discussing official programs, such as municipal recycling or waste management, you often need to cite rules, schedules, and policies. Farsi uses a few common prepositions to mean "according to" or "based on." Just like other prepositions, these link to the noun that follows them using the unseen ezafe vowel.

According to (طبق)

The word طبق translates to "according to" or "as per." It is frequently used to reference schedules, lists, and direct instructions.

Based on (بر اساس)

To say "based on" or "on the basis of," use بر اساس. This phrase is widely used when citing directives, policies, or standard procedures.

In Accordance With (مطابق)

For formal compliance, such as acting "in accordance with" or "conforming to" an official resolution, use مطابق.

Like the other prepositions of accordance, this phrase can appear at the very beginning of the sentence to establish context, or it can be embedded later in the clause alongside the subject or time words.
