Vender means "to sell" and is a textbook regular -er verb. Along with comer and beber, it's one of the clearest models for learning the -er conjugation pattern across every tense.

Common Uses
Like comprar, vender uses a to mark the person you sold something to: le vendí el carro a mi vecino. The reflexive venderse describes something that "sells" (is sold) or, figuratively, a person who sells out.

They're selling ice cream on the corner.
