Correr means "to run." It is a perfectly regular -er verb, so it follows exactly the same endings as comer and beber, just with the stem corr-.
Beyond literal running, correr has several idiomatic uses: rivers and liquids corren (flow), time corre (passes quickly), rumors corren (go around), and you can correr un riesgo (take a risk).

Common Uses
Correr is the default verb for running, jogging, and racing. It's also common in a handful of useful idioms: correr un riesgo (to take a risk), correr prisa (to be urgent), correr con los gastos (to cover the expenses), and correrse (to move over).
