Task completion verbs (ลุล่วง)

Accomplishing Tasks with ลุล่วง

To express that a mission, assignment, or goal was accomplished completely and smoothly, use the formal resultative verb ลุล่วง. It is typically placed directly after task-oriented achievement verbs like สำเร็จ (to succeed / to complete) or เสร็จ (to finish) to emphasize that the task was fulfilled without any lingering issues.

Professional Work and Operations

When discussing official projects, you will often use formal workplace vocabulary such as แผนงาน (work plan), คณะทำงาน (working group), ภาระงาน (workload), and ปฏิบัติการ (operation).

To describe wrapping up these projects, use verbs like เสร็จสิ้น (to finish completely) and ส่งมอบ (to deliver).

You can combine these formal verbs with ลุล่วง to indicate that a heavy workload or complex operation was wrapped up perfectly. In formal reporting, this is often followed by writing a conclusion (บทสรุป).

Overcoming Obstacles and Exceeding Targets

Even with a good plan, you may need to push past challenges. Use the verb ก้าวข้าม (to overcome / to step over) to describe getting past problems so the work can be completed successfully.

When a team performs exceptionally well, you can describe the outcome using ทะลุเป้า (to exceed the target). This pairs the word for target (เป้า) with the resultative verb ทะลุ (to clear through).
