Why does the second sentence say Därför seglar vi instead of Därför vi seglar?
This is because Swedish uses the verb-second (V2) rule. The verb must be the second piece of information in a main clause. Since the connecting word Därför (Therefore) takes the first position, the verb seglar (sail) has to come right after it, pushing the subject vi (we) to the third position.
Why does inte come at the very end of the sentence?
Does farlig change if the noun is plural or an ett-word?
Yes! Because en storm is an en-word, we use the basic form farlig. If we were talking about an ett-word like ett djur (an animal), it would become farligt. If it were plural like stormarna (the storms), it would be farliga.
Can I use därför att here instead of just därför?
