Questions & Answers about Considero que es una buena idea.
Why do we use the indicative es here instead of the subjunctive?
The verb considerar (to consider) works just like creer and pensar. In affirmative sentences, these verbs declare what you believe is a fact, so they take the indicative mood (es). If the sentence were negative (No considero que...), it would trigger the subjunctive (sea).
The English translation says "I consider it a good idea." Where is the word for "it" in Spanish?
Could I drop the word que like we sometimes drop "that" in English?
Why does the adjective buena come before idea?
