Why does lo come before the verb guardamos?
In Spanish, direct object pronouns like lo (meaning "it") usually go immediately before the conjugated verb. While in English we say "keep it" (verb + object), Spanish flips this to lo guardamos (object + verb).
How do we know to use lo instead of la for "it"?
Direct object pronouns must match the gender and number of the noun they replace. Here, "it" refers to el boleto (the ticket). Because boleto is masculine and singular, we use the masculine singular pronoun lo.
The translation says "we buy... and we keep", but there is only one nosotros in the Spanish sentence. Why?
