Questions & Answers about Трансляция из новой студии на этом канале будет в 16:40.
How do I read "в 16:40" out loud in this sentence?
You read it as в шестнадцать сорок. In the digital time format, you just state the hour (16) and the minutes (40) using normal numbers. The preposition в means "at", and the numbers generally stay in their basic form in everyday speech when using this simple digital style.
Why do we use the preposition из for "from" the studio instead of с or от?
The preposition из means "from" or "out of" the inside of something. Because you would normally say someone is inside a studio (в студии), the opposite direction of coming out of it uses из. It requires the Genitive case, changing новая студия to из новой студии.
Why is it на этом канале?
We use the preposition на (on) for media platforms like channels, websites, or radio stations. Because we are talking about the location where the broadcast happens, it takes the Prepositional case. This changes the basic form этот канал (this channel) to на этом канале.
Why use the verb будет here?
будет is the future tense of the verb "to be" for a singular subject (he, she, or it). Since the broadcast (трансляция) is scheduled for a future time, we use будет to simply say that the event "will be" at that time.
