Ordering the Classics
Familiar terms like espresso and cappuccino are used just like in English. You can customize your order by asking for it without sugar or with whipped cream (frișcă).

Sizes and Milk Alternatives
Specify your cup size, such as medium (mijlociu). For dairy-free options, use lapte de (milk of) followed by the plant name: oat (ovăz), soy (soia), or almond (migdale).
| Do you want a medium cappuccino with oat milk or soy milk? | Vrei un cappuccino mijlociu cu lapte de ovăz sau de soia? |
| My friend wants a coffee with caramel and almond milk. | Prietena mea vrea o cafea cu caramel și lapte de migdale. |
Pastries and Caffeine Levels
Pair your drink with a pastry like a croissant (croasant), and express your preferences regarding temperature and how much caffeine (cofeină) your drink has.
| The client ordered two croissants and a coffee with soy. | Clienta a comandat două croasante și o cafea cu soia. |
