The Causal Conjunction "căci"
The conjunction căci translates to "because" or "for" and carries a slightly formal, literary, or poetic tone. This makes it a natural choice when discussing elevated subjects like history, religion, or literature.
Căci links a main clause to a subordinate clause that provides the reason. Always place a comma immediately before căci. Unlike some other causal conjunctions, a clause starting with căci cannot be placed at the beginning of a sentence.
