Naming the topic, formally
Beside în legătură cu, referitor la and în privința, written Romanian has four more ways to say what you are talking about:

Unlike în privința, none of these takes the genitive. In în ceea ce privește (as regards) privește is a verb and the noun is its object: în ceea ce privește prețul, never prețului. With a pronoun: în ceea ce mă privește (as far as I'm concerned).

Like referitor, privitor agrees with the noun before it: un e-mail privitor la, regulile privitoare la. Privind never changes. After a verb it is just the gerund (looking at); after a noun in a formal text it means on.

Relative to, depending on, when it comes to
Raportat la (relative to) measures one thing against another. În funcție de (depending on) names what decides something. Când vine vorba de (when it comes to) narrows the topic. No genitive here either. After la and de a lone noun has no article: raportat la calitate, în funcție de vreme, când vine vorba de bani.

To this end; in my opinion
În acest sens (to this end, in this respect) points back to a goal just named. A fi de părere că (to be of the opinion that) is a more formal a crede că; only fi changes. To disagree: sunt de altă părere.
