In Portuguese, adjectives usually come after the noun they describe, rather than before it like in English. So instead of "delicious cakes", you say "cakes delicious" (bolos deliciosos).

Why does deliciosos end in -os?

Adjectives in Portuguese have to match the gender (masculine or feminine) and number (singular or plural) of the noun they describe. Because bolos is a masculine plural noun, the adjective must take the masculine plural ending -os. The singular form would be bolo delicioso.

Does Eles mean a group of men, or just "they" in general?

Eles can mean a group of exclusively males, or a mixed-gender group. If the group were made up of only females, you would use Elas.

Why is the verb comem instead of come?

Comer (to eat) is a regular verb. Because the subject is Eles (they), we use the plural ending -em. You would use come if the subject was singular, like Ele (he) or Você (you).
