Do the numbers cinco and seis change if we are talking about men or women?
No, they don't. Unlike the numbers one (um or uma) and two (dois or duas), the numbers from three to ten have only one form. You use cinco and seis for both masculine and feminine words.
Since there are multiple teachers here, why isn't the word for "there are" (há) in a plural form?
When used to mean "there is" or "there are" (to show that something exists), the word há never changes. It stays exactly the same whether you are talking about one teacher or eleven teachers.
