Oblique cases of everyone (wszystkich, wszystkim)

The Polish word for a mixed or all-male group of "everyone" is wszyscy. Here is how it changes across the oblique grammatical cases.

The Dative Case: Wszystkim

Use the Dative form wszystkim when "everyone" is the indirect object (answering "to whom?"), such as with verbs like ufać (to trust) and przedstawić (to present).

The leader trusts everyone in the company.
Lider ufa wszystkim w firmie.
Tomorrow I will present our new project to everyone.
Jutro przedstawię wszystkim nasz nowy projekt.

It also appears with the phrase zależeć na (to care about), where the person who cares takes the Dative case:

to care about
zależeć na
Everyone cares about good cooperation.
Wszystkim zależy na dobrej współpracy.

The Instrumental Case: Wszystkimi

To say "with everyone", use the preposition z followed by the Instrumental form wszystkimi. The preposition z becomes ze before wszystkimi for easier pronunciation.

We will talk at my place with everyone.
Będziemy rozmawiać u mnie ze wszystkimi.

The Genitive and Accusative Cases: Wszystkich

Wszystkich serves as both the Genitive and Accusative form. Use it as a direct object with verbs that affect people, such as prosić (to ask) or motywować (to motivate).

The boss asks everyone for commitment.
Szef prosi wszystkich o zaangażowanie.
The new leader must motivate everyone.
Nowy lider musi motywować wszystkich.

You also use wszystkich after prepositions that require the Genitive case, such as u (at / in / among) and dla (for), or to indicate possession.

I see progress in everyone.
Widzę postęp u wszystkich.
This discussion is important for everyone.
Ta dyskusja jest ważna dla wszystkich.

The Locative Case: Wszystkich

The Locative form is identically wszystkich. Use it after Locative prepositions, such as o (about).

I always think about everyone.
Zawsze myślę o wszystkich.
