This is a tricky coincidence in Icelandic! For the verb byrjið, the -ið ending marks a plural command. But for the noun samtalið (the conversation), the -ið ending is actually the neuter definite article meaning "the" attached to the base word samtal.
Why is the word for "the page" written as síðuna here?
The base word for "page" is the feminine noun síða. Because it is the direct object of the action (it is the thing you are looking at), it takes the accusative case and changes to síðu. When we add the definite article suffix to mean "the page", síðu becomes síðuna.
Why use skoðið instead of sjáið?
While sjá means "to see" (something that happens naturally with your eyes), skoða means "to look at", "to view", or "to examine" (an intentional action). Since you are actively choosing to look at the page, skoða is the correct verb to use here.
