To emphasize ownership, like "my own business," use the word eigin. It is an invariable adjective, meaning it never changes form regardless of the noun's gender, number, or case.
Place eigin directly between the possessive pronoun (minn, þinn, etc.) and the noun. The possessive pronoun declines to agree with the noun as usual, but eigin remains exactly the same.
