Why is there no word for is in Графік готовий?
In Ukrainian, the verb to be is usually omitted in the present tense.
So where English says The schedule is ready, Ukrainian naturally says just:
Графік готовий.
This is completely normal.
A full form with є can appear sometimes for emphasis or style, but in everyday speech it is usually left out.
What case is графік in here?
Графік is in the nominative singular.
It is the subject of the sentence: the thing that is ready.
