Usages of έξω

• Συνήθως διαβάζω στο κρεβάτι, αλλά μερικές φορές ακούω μουσική έξω.: I usually read in bed, but sometimes I listen to music outside.
• Θέλεις να φάμε έξω απόψε;: Do you want us to eat out tonight?
• Είναι σκοτάδι έξω, αλλά μέσα έχουμε καλό φως.: It is dark outside, but inside we have good light.
• Φοράω ζεστά ρούχα για να είμαι καλά έξω.: I wear warm clothes in order to be okay outside.
• Όταν ήσουν στο σχολείο, εγώ έτρωγα έξω.: When you were at school, I was eating out.
• Υπάρχει κανείς έξω ή είμαι μόνος;: Is anyone outside or am I alone (male)?
• Κάποιος περιμένει έξω.: Someone is waiting outside.

• Αγαπάω να τρώω έξω, αλλά ο αδερφός μου σπάνια έρχεται.: I love eating out, but my brother rarely comes.

• Την Παρασκευή πηγαίνω συχνά έξω με τη φίλη μου.: On Friday I often go out with my (female) friend.
• Σήμερα έχει χιόνι και η θερμοκρασία έξω είναι πολύ χαμηλή.: Today it is snowing and the temperature outside is very low.
• Το φθινόπωρο μένω συχνά σπίτι, αλλά το καλοκαίρι είμαι σχεδόν πάντα έξω.: In autumn I often stay home, but in summer I am almost always outside.
• Η ταβέρνα αυτή έχει λίγα τραπέζια έξω και είναι πολύ ήσυχη.: This taverna has a few tables outside and is very quiet.

• Ανάβω το μικρό φως στο γραφείο όταν έξω έχει ήδη νυχτώσει.: I turn on the small light on the desk when it is already dark outside.
• Όποτε έχω λίγο χρόνο, μαγειρεύω στο σπίτι αντί να τρώω έξω.: Whenever I have a little time, I cook at home instead of eating out.
• Δεν βγαίνω έξω απόψε, γιατί είμαι κουρασμένος.: I’m not going out tonight, because I’m tired.
• Αν ξεκλειδώσεις πριν κοιτάξεις ποιος είναι έξω, μπορεί να γίνει παρεξήγηση, οπότε περίμενε λίγο.: If you unlock before you check who is outside, a misunderstanding can happen, so wait a bit.
