• Malapit lang ang palengke sa bahay kaya dumating ako agad.: The market is just near the house so I arrived right away.
• Dumating na si Ana, at malapit lang si Juan.: Ana has arrived, and Juan is just nearby.
• Tuloy ka lang, kaibigan; naghihintay ang pamilya sa kusina.: Just come in, friend; the family is waiting in the kitchen.
