How is the adverb facilement formed from the adjective?
To make an adverb in French, you usually take the feminine form of an adjective and add -ment. The adjective for "easy" is facile. Because it already ends in an -e, its masculine and feminine forms are identical. We just add -ment directly to get facilement (easily).
