Why is there no word for "to" before بازار?
In everyday, spoken Farsi, the preposition به, meaning "to", is usually dropped when talking about going to a destination. So instead of saying به بازار, people just say بازار.
میری means "you go" or "you are going", so why is it used for a future event like امشب (tonight)?
Just like in English, Farsi frequently uses the present tense for planned future actions. Using the strict future tense here would sound very unnatural in conversation.
Is میری the standard written form of the verb?
No, it is the conversational pronunciation of میروی. In spoken Farsi, the "v" sound in the present stem of رفتن (to go) often disappears, making it much easier to say quickly.
How does the listener know this is a question without a question word like آیا?
In spoken Farsi, yes/no questions rely entirely on your tone of voice. You simply raise your pitch on the final syllable of the sentence, and the formal word آیا is almost never used.
