Are مرداد and شهریور days of the week or months?
They are months of the Iranian (Solar Hijri) calendar. مرداد (Mordad) is the fifth month of the year, corresponding to mid-summer, and شهریور (Shahrivar) is the sixth month, right before autumn begins.
Why do we need از here? Couldn't we just say بعد مرداد?
