Do I have to include the word ما (we) at the beginning?

No, it is completely optional. The plural verb ending یم in پیروز شدیم already tells the listener that the subject is "we". Including ما just adds a little emphasis, but native speakers often drop it.

Can I put the time word دیروز (yesterday) at the end of the sentence like in English?
