Unless conditionals (magar inke)

Sharing a professional workspace requires clear boundaries and ground rules.

To state a strict rule alongside its only exception, use the conjunction مگر اینکه (unless).

The Conjunction: مگر اینکه

Because مگر اینکه introduces a dependent condition, the verb following it must always take the present subjunctive.

Notice how the main clause states the rule, while the clause following مگر اینکه switches to the subjunctive (اعتماد کنیم).

If the condition involves the verb "to be", use its present subjunctive form, built on the stem باشـ.
