Autumn and Winter
The second half of the Persian year covers autumn and winter. مهر opens the school year the way September does in the West.

The Four Seasons
بهار (spring), پاییز (autumn), and زمستان (winter) join the summer months you just learned — تیر and مرداد belong to تابستان, the fourth season, which returns in its own right later. اسفند ends the year, and right after it بهار — and Nowruz — return.

سن (age) rounds out the calendar words. The question uses چند, and the answer counts in سال:
