Why do we use geen here instead of niet?
In Dutch, geen means "no" or "not a". You use it to negate nouns that are indefinite, meaning they don't have words like "the", "this", or "my" in front of them. Because you are saying "no difference" rather than "not the difference", geen is the right choice.
