How does adding enkele change the meaning from just using geen?
While geen simply means "no" or "not any", adding enkele makes it an emphatic negation. Together, geen enkele means "not a single". It strongly emphasizes that the resident does not want even one bare wall.
Why is there an -e on enkele?
Muur (wall) is a de word (de muur). When you use this emphatic negation with a de word, enkel gets an -e added to it. If the noun were a het word, like het raam (the window), it would stay uninflected: geen enkel raam.
Why does the adjective kaal (bare) change to kale here?
There are two things happening. First, because muur is a de word, the adjective in front of it gets an -e ending. Second, a spelling rule kicks in: to keep the "a" sound long when adding a vowel ending, we drop one "a", changing kaal to kale.
Shouldn't the verb for a third-person singular like de bewoner be wilt?
The verb willen (to want) is a common exception to the normal present tense rules. For hij, zij, or a third-person noun like de bewoner, the correct form is just wil without a -t. The only time you add a -t in the singular is for the polite you (u wilt).
