Questions & Answers about Nadalje, takvo ponašanje je nedopustivo za ovaj hotel.
How does nadalje fit into a structured argument alongside phrases like kao prvo or naposljetku?
Nadalje means "furthermore" or "moreover." It is used to add an additional supporting point to your argument. You will typically use it in the middle of your explanation, after laying out your initial points with kao prvo (firstly) or kao drugo (secondly), but before your final conclusion with naposljetku (finally).
Could I use osim toga instead of nadalje to say "furthermore" in this sentence?
Yes, osim toga (besides that) is very similar in meaning and often interchangeable. However, nadalje sounds slightly more formal and authoritative, which perfectly fits the tone of someone setting official rules or speaking on behalf of a hotel.
Why is it takvo ponašanje instead of tako ponašanje?
Takvo is a demonstrative adjective meaning "such" or "that kind of," so it has to agree with the neuter noun ponašanje in gender and case. Tako is an adverb meaning "so" or "in such a way." You use the adjective to describe a noun (takvo ponašanje - such behavior) but the adverb to describe an action (tako se ponašati - to behave so).
What case is ovaj hotel in after the preposition za, and why does it look exactly like the nominative?
