Questions & Answers about Perşembe ve cuma ofiste çalışıyorum.

Why is cuma written with a lowercase letter when it means "Friday"?
In Turkish, days of the week and months are not capitalized unless they are at the beginning of a sentence (like Perşembe here) or part of a specific exact date.
Where is the word for "on" in this sentence? English says "on Thursday".
Turkish doesn't use a preposition like "on" for days of the week when talking about regular occurrences. To say "on Thursday and Friday", you just state the names of the days: perşembe ve cuma.
Why is "at the office" ofiste instead of ofisde?
This is because of a rule called consonant harmony. The word ofis ends in a hard consonant (s). When adding the "in/at/on" suffix (-da or -de), that hard s forces the soft d to become a hard t. So, ofis + -de becomes ofiste.
How do we know who is working in the word çalışıyorum?
The "I" is built right into the end of the verb! The root is çalış (work), -ıyor shows it is happening right now, and the -um at the end means "I". Because of this ending, you don't need to include the word ben (I) in the sentence.
