### The Past Continuous Interrogative

To ask if someone "was doing" something, combine the continuous suffix (**-ıyor**, **-iyor**, **-uyor**, or **-üyor**), a space, the question particle (**mu**), the past tense ending (**ydu**), and the personal ending.

Since the continuous suffix always ends in **-or**, the question ending is consistently **muydu** (except for *onlar*, which takes **-lar mıydı**).

### Asking About Multiple Actions

When asking if someone was doing two things at the same time, connect the actions using **ve** (and) or **hem ... hem ...** (both ... and ...). 

You only need to add the question ending (**muydu?**) to the final verb. The first verb just takes the standard continuous suffix (like **-ıyor** or **-iyor**) without any question or past tense markers.
