Questions & Answers about ช่างภาพ แนะนำ ท่าโพส และ มุมกล้อง ที่ ดูดี ที่สุด ค่ะ
The word ท่าโพส includes the English loanword "pose". Why do we need the word ท่า in front of it?
In Thai, loanwords from English are often grouped with a native category word to clarify their meaning. ท่า means "posture" or "stance," so ท่าโพส literally means "posture of posing." You will see this pattern often, like with รถบัส (bus, where รถ means vehicle).
Does the relative pronoun ที่ (that/which) in this sentence refer to just the camera angle, or both the pose and the angle?
It applies to the entire noun phrase that precedes it: ท่าโพสและมุมกล้อง (the pose and camera angle). The photographer is suggesting both the best pose and the best angle.
The word for photographer is ช่างภาพ. How is this compound word formed?
It uses the prefix ช่าง, which means a craftsman, mechanic, or specialist in a particular trade, combined with ภาพ (picture or image). You will recognize ช่าง from other professions you have learned, like ช่างตัดผม (hairdresser) or ช่างไฟ (electrician).
Since this lesson focuses on the opportunity particle ทั้งที, how could we use it to expand this situation to say: "Since we got a photographer, they suggested the best pose"?
You could add a background clause before this sentence: มีช่างภาพทั้งที ช่างภาพก็แนะนำ... (Since we have a photographer, the photographer suggested...). ทั้งที comes at the end of the setup clause (having a photographer) to emphasize taking full advantage of the situation and getting the absolute best results.
