The Universal Quantifier ทุก

To express "every" of a certain noun, Thai uses the word ทุก. Just like numbers and demonstratives, ทุก must be followed by the appropriate classifier for the noun you are describing.

The structure is: Noun + ทุก + Classifier

Classifiers for Abstract Nouns

Classifiers are not just for physical objects; abstract concepts also require them.

For a question (คำถาม), use the classifier ข้อ (which is also used for test items or points on a list).

For a problem (ปัญหา), use the classifier เรื่อง (which is generally used for matters, stories, or topics).

Comparing Items

When talking about universal facts or multiple items, you will often need to point out whether things are the same (เหมือนกัน) or different (แตกต่าง).
